CMX

Responsive Web Design

CMX wanted to re-envision their online store and focus on creating a comprehensive yet intuitive platform for their key users. The aim was to create an experience that was engaging to hardcore comic readers while keeping it accessible to customers who are new to the world of comics.

Through our research and findings, we were able to make informed design decisions that allowed the spirit and personality of comic books to shine through, while keeping the site’s functionality practical and delightful to it's audience.

The series detail page provides an overview orientation for all items inside the series. The header background uses a color from the series art as the background color, branding the page with the personality of the series.

Issue Detail Page

The issue page displays detailed information related to the issue, such as relevant characters and related items. The coverflow view allows you to click the previous arrow or next arrow and quickly navigate through the following issues. On the issue pages, the description is dropped and the artwork asset is smaller to maximize the space below the headers.
